The rapid creation and expression of design ideas for the purposes of interaction, entertainment and engagement is one of the most satsifying tasks that I get to perform.

I combine Motion Graphics, Visual Storytelling, and the spirit of the subject matter to craft and provethe viability of compelling and memorable moments.

Match-Three Game Prototype

Big-Time Baseball Match! is a rapid, Unity-based prototype (created with Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere) that I have created to test the viability of a match-three style game that employs a card collecting reward mechanic while remaining faithful to the structure of the rules of baseball.

Avatar Creator Prototype

Having been a creative leader on the teams that developed the initial "The Sims" and "Spore" franchises, avatar creators are near and dear to my heart. This is an example of an XD clickable prototype and accompanying style mockups that I like to use to direct teams to build polished interactive experiences.

VR Baseball Swing Training Prototype

Using Unity, Maya, and the HTC Vive headset, I led a small team in creating an app designed to teach proper baseball swing technique. The app provides statistical analysis based on volumetric swing data recorded via a sensory system built into a regulation-size/weigh (which included haptics) bat we designed and manufactured.

VR Football Quarterbacking Game Prototype

Using Unity, Maya, and the HTC Vive, I worked with an engineer to develop an 11-on-11 football game that simulated the "2-Minute Drill" scenario where the player was the quarterback facing different defensive schemes using only arm strength, accuracy, and a built-in playbook.

Mobile Digital / Trading Card Games

I started my own LLC called "Cardcore Games" as a think tank development studio to provide a space to explore and prototype my own card game design concepts. I also began to dabble in AR a a potential element that would pair nicely with physical/tabletop card games aas well.

B.O.O.M. Girls IP Creation and Product Line Development

Battlefield Operatives: Occult and Mysticism - better known as the "B.O.O.M. Girls" - was a character-driven IP that I developed for my company, Cardcore Games. It focused on an all-female cast of characters who served as WW2 operatives investigating strange and unusual happenings during the war. They ran afoul of an evil sorcerer and were blasted into a fissure in the timeline, causing action, adventure, and mystery solving to ensue. The IP was designed to have a web/TV presence, a toy line, and a mobile gaming initiative.

Stop-Motion Puppet Animated Film

I created a stop-motion puppet film titled "Slick's Magnum 44" that I wrote, directed, constructed all of the puppets and sets, directed voice actors, animated and filmed. It toured internationally with Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. It is also found on their compilation package entitled "Full Frontal."
